“The property is right across the street from the water. The staff is very helpful. I liked that it is within walking distance of the old town.”

“Owners were very nice! We wanted to go to the monastery across the island but the busses weren't running at the time we needed to leave. They called a friend and set us up with a taxi ride, which I'm still very appreciative for. They're very accommodating. The hotel was also across the street from a nice swimming spot along the beach, as well as a very short walk from where the ferry dropped us off. When I come back to Aegina I'm definitely staying at Hotel Plaza again!!”

“Near to the beach. Good air-conditioning. Small balcony. Kettle. Fridge. Huge bed. Shower small. Plastic curtain had to be carefully manovered yo keep water in. 2 square feet too move to shower. Toilet squashed in behind the huge boat sink. Owners absolutely adorable. We had "garden view ". An overgrown patch of ground. But at least it was quiet. Would stay in the sister hotel in the future the Plaza hotel. Very near ferry terminal. Great restaurant opposite hotel. Had better……

“Gorgeous little apartment with a very comfortable bed and 2 lovely terraces. Great powerful shower and excellent amenities meant we could grab a little snack or make a drink. Not far to walk into the port, even with cases. Netflix and air conditioning worked well.”

“Very quaint newly renovated villa, feels like staying in a resort. The area feels safe and walkable to many restaurants and cafes. Right next to the beach and ferry to the mainland. Highly recommend renting a car to explore the island.”

“This is a beautiful and peaceful hotel. It was a quick and easy walk from the port. After checking in, Ali took our luggage up to our room, which was sooo nice of him! Entering our room was a delight! They had the temperature set to a very comfortable setting, a few lights were on that gave it a glow, and lovely music was playing. It definitely set the tone for a very enjoyable stay. Breakfast was wonderful and the staff was friendly and attentive. The evening staff was equally friendly and……

“Clean room, staff was great, they have a café upstairs, really nice terrace on the second floor and the third floor with beautiful views. And you can have drinks up there and just lounge out. I would recommend bringing mosquito or bug spray when walking around outside. ( noticed that a lot around the island). AC in the room blows cold! Great value and great stay overall.”

“I stayed here for a week with my 9 year old daughter and it was an excellent base for exploring the local area. 5 minutes taxi to the local town (Galatas) and from there it’s a few minutes boat over to Poros island. Very friendly staff and owner, nice pool, good food and cocktails.”

“The only thing good about this hotel was the AC, apparently I got a room that wasn’t ready for rental. Zero amenities, no soap, no frig, and a big hole in the bathroom wall. Water stain in the walls. Asked front desk for new room. There was a language barrier but she said no room available. I made the reservation over a month ago.”
